What are Uni-Tab Electrodes?
Uni-Tab Electrodes are TENS electrodes that can be used with any TENS
machine and are suitable for any area of the body. They have a low
profile design and simple, functional practicality, which distributes
current evenly throughout the pad.
The square shape of the electrodes make them suitable for use on most
areas of the body and are the most popular dimension of electrode on the
market. When applying TENS stimulation to smaller or larger areas of the
body, the user may want to choose a more appropriate size electrode.

The electrodes can be reused on the same patient, but not on different
patients, this is designed to promote hygenic treatment.
All Uni-Tab½ electrodes require the purchase of an adaptor to attach a
standard pin to the electrode tab.
How to Use Uni-Tab Electrodes
To start attach the adapter to the end of the electrodes and attach the
clips to the TENS machine so that current can flow through to the pads.
Stick the pads to the skin so that they are symmetrical to each other,
the distance between the pads should cover the painful area, which will
allow stimulation to relieve the symptoms of pain in the area.
The distance between the pads will affect the level of stimulation that
is felt, having the pads in closer proximity will increase the intensity
of the current. The user can adjust the TENS machine current intensity
to suit their preference regardless of the proximity of the pads.
The final step is to turn the TENS machine on, it is recommended the
user starts the TENS machine on with a low level of current and
increases the current incrementally until a comfortable and effective
stimulation is reached.
You can use 2 or 4 pads at once with the TENS machine, you can use these
to stimulate a large area of the body or to stimulate to smaller areas
of the body at the same time.
