Thumb and Wrist Supports
What are Thumb and Wrist Supports?
This website offers a range of Thumb and Wrist supports, to treat multiple conditions, from a variety of specialised medical suppliers and established brands.
The supports are designed to provide a multi-faceted approach to treating injuries. Areas that are targeted include three key areas of rehabilitation; compression, warmth and support.
Compression and warmth work to increase arterial blood flow, rich in oxygen and nutrients to the injured area, while the compression also limits the amount of swelling.
The support provided by the brace works to gently restrict the amount of movement for the joint. Combined with compression the support works to hold tendons together and prevent overextension of the injured area. Promoting rehabilitation and reducing recovery time.
The supports are made with premium quality material, specifically Neo-tex, which is a rubber designed to provide compression and warmth to joints, while maintaining a large degree of adjustment.
Supports are manufactured with hygiene and user comfort in mind and many of the supports are implemented with moisture wicking technology to reduce the amount of sweat and increase long-term usage of the support. Specifically, all Neo-tex products have moisture wicking technology.
All the supports of this site can be hand or machine washed for comfort and hygiene, allowing the supports to be used with multiple people or stored for long-term use.
